It's been too wet to do an allotment video update this weekend. Instead I bring you the weird sight of our Magnolia tree with it's very alien looking seed pods. It is Halloween afterall!
I've not seen that before, though I don't have a magnolia tree in my garden, I know of several. Do you think the mild autumn has given them a chance to mature? I'd certainly try to plant them, though (having looked up info) they take years to flower and are chancy even to germinate.
